The Deering Estate offers a winter break camp, which aligns with Miami Dade County School’s scheduled winter break. Every camp has a different theme and explores a different aspect of nature, allowing campers to have fun while also learning about different fields of science.
If a space becomes available, your camper will automatically be transferred from their registered camp to the waitlisted camp, and we will send a notification to the primary email about the change.
Campers will work together to build winter holiday-inspired robotic models, play games with their models, modify their work to learn the basics of robotics.
Our winter camp will introduce programs and merit badges that are not available at either of our summer camps. We've pulled together the best of our summer camp staffs for an all-star leadership team.
. They will have the opportunity to make new friends and engage in indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, positive environment. You can sign up for any number of days. Both members and non-members are welcome to attend, so invite your friends.
