You don’t need to be a seasoned martial artist to defend yourself. Real self defense is fast, effective and easy to apply – and it is nothing like what you see in the movies!
RKD is a Freestyle or Mixed Martial Art (MMA) that focuses on a practical approach to self defence, and the physical health and mental well-being of our students. It is idealteam building events perth for women’s self defence.
And we regularly run women’s self defence courses. We run out of a dedicated facility (not a hired hall), specifically set up for martial arts training in the Perth suburb of Bassendean.
The self defence syllabus of RKD is based on the Krav Maga Worldwide syllabus. Krav Maga is well known for being an effective form of self defence. We complement the Krav Maga aspects of self defence with other disciplines.

Mini Karate is a karate-based program that caters to children as young as 3. Developed to be age-appropriate, engaging and fun, Mini Karate is an introduction to Martial Arts and the long-term benefits that can be gained through the study and practice of Karate & other Martial Arts.
For children aged from 4 to 6 years, our “Little Ninjas” program builds discipline and concentration in your children. Each class focuses on developing physical, emotional & social skills through karate games and activities.
Our Youth program is designed to develop unshakeable self-confidence, rock solid self-esteem and laser beam focus. Through our martial arts and Character development program you child will begin to live life to their full potential.
This class teaches you the most practical and dynamic movements of these styles without kata, pomsae, horse riding stances or hands on hips. Although these have their place in traditional arts, this class will arm you with only the most combative strikes, stances and protective positions.
