The Multnomah Arts Center (MAC) provides excellent arts education in the visual and performing arts at an affordable cost to students of all ages.

In this workshop, students will learn the basics of kumiko, including the use of hand tools to cut the pieces and assemble the frame. Each student will work on a small project to finish and take home.

Students learn the safe and proper use of hand tools and how to read and draw basic woodworking plans. Students start woodworking in Pre-Kindergarten learning the basic fundamentals of measuring, and cutting, and their skills increase each year.
