Instructors:
Generally, volunteer private teachers donate an hour of their time per week, teaching two students for a half-hour each. If you are interested in volunteering as a teacher at W.O. Smith Music School,
Requirements:
Students must be between the ages of 9 and 18 years old. Students must be proficient in reading music OR have completed the Basic Musicianship class at W.O. Smith.
Schedule:
Private lessons are offered during school hours, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am–6:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am–12:00 pm. Lesson times are based on the schedules of the participating student and his or her teacher.

Clarinet lessons at Charlotte Academy of Music are engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs. We enjoy helping beginning students get started in music lessons. More advanced students are often assisted in preparing for solo and ensemble and school band auditions
Clarinet Lessons are offered by Community Music Center. Community Music Center makes high quality music accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, regardless of financial means. Classes are offered on a sliding scale and some are completely tuition-free.
The Aim Brass and Woodwind Program, sponsored by the Divine Family, trains students in trumpet, horn, flute, clarinet, saxophone and bassoon.
