DurationThis is an introductory woodwork skills course, but people with woodwork knowledge and their own project, who want access to woodwork tools and advice may join. The course outlines woodwork skills, Power tools found in the home, plans, building methods, material specifications list (wood, screws, glue, etc.) and project timelines.
The aim is that students learn at their own level. There will be opportunities to undertake simple supplied projects, or to undertake your own project plan to fit the course time frame. Students must supply their own materials, fixings and finishes. Recycled materials are not allowed.
You will find Tawa College on Duncan Street in Tawa. It is in walking distance from either Tawa train station or Linden train station.
