The Ontario Traffic Manual’s Book 7 (Temporary Conditions) was developed to provide basic requirements for traffic control in work zones during roadway or utility construction and maintenance operations on or adjacent to public highways including ramps and municipal roads and streets as well as other public ways to which road traffic has access.

TRAFFIC CONTROL PERSON TRAININGThe Traffic Control Person Training course from Safety First Training is an OHSA based program and is compliant with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation Book 7 Temporary Conditions: Ontario Traffic Manual 2022 edition TCP requirement.
Advantage Learning Solution’s Flag Person Training is a construction industry required course. The course focuses on work zone roadway safety and it addresses practical approaches to recognizing and controlling hazards in the work zone.
This program is designed to teach participants the methods necessary to development an effective traffic control program in order to protect both workers and general vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
IST’s program has been revised to reflect this newly revised edition. Those who have taken this course in the past will need to receive training on the changes that have taken place.
