Did you know that falls from heights has been one of the leading causes for workplace injuries and deaths from heights less than 5 meters? Fall hazards can be anywhere; up high and down low and change from day to day. It is important to always be alert while working.

You can get injured or even killed if falling from height hazards if areas such as ladders, scaffolding, unprotected edges, floor openings, are not properly managed in your workplace.

Many companies only investigate accidents and what went wrong, rarely do people take the same time and effort to look at what went well. Best practice is when workers are exposed to fall from heights, develop a safe work plan and procedure, training, rescue plan and competent supervision are essential to minimize the risk.

This course explores basic theory concepts and practical elements of working at heights.
