Completing this course will enable workers to carry out the permit process within the workplace. Paired with a knowledge base such as working at heights or confined space, permits to work are another safety screening system.
Staff using forklifts must have basic operating skills to use a forklift safely in any workplace. This course includes both the theory & practical requirements of an OSH certificate (Operator Safe Handling Cert.) in line with Forklift Truck Standard & Worksafe NZ Best Practice requirements.
This aim of this course is to enable a trainee to produce an occupational health and safety incident investigation based on organisational requirements, an incident and a report based on that incident.
