New Zealand Biosecurity Academy Limited (NZBA) is a part of The Omah Group. NZBA's training and advisory services are delivered both nationally and internationally, using qualified facilitators and extensive resources to help you achieve your personal, operational and/or business objectives.
Trainees who attend this confined space training will be able to, in the infrastructure industry: identify the location, and work procedure to be carried out; examine an entry plan for completeness, and enter, complete work, withdraw from a confined space; and conduct a non-entry confined space.
Operating a Crawler Crane is a specialised skill. On course completion trainees will be able to apply theory and skills in lifting and placing loads with an overhead crawler crane and analyse and evaluate processes, through practical experience.

This course is designed to provide trainees with an overview of the causes of back injury and how to prevent such injuries in the workplace. It can be delivered with or without assessment to unit standard 17592.
Under the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017, the training requirements are in place for all people working with hazardous substances. This is more stringent than the previous regulations.
