For Whom:
People already working or with desire to enter the process industry with the skills and knowledge required to allow a person to function as a member of a Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Operators or technicians working in the plant, workshops in the process industry or industrial building.
Entry level:
have received training in wearing breathing apparatus (BA), search and rescue, casualty handling and fire command and control systems.
Able to listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to ES Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 6
Participants will learn to:
Prepare for fire and Hazmat emergencies.
Participate to contain fire emergencies.
Participate to contain Hazmat emergencies.
Assist in search and rescue operations.
Participant’s Attire:
Safety Shoes. Proper attire. No short pants and singlet

PTC is managed by a team of people with the adequate knowledge and skills in Training, Training Administration & Corporate Services.
The company is headed by a Managing Director, and managed by a Centre Manager with the support of team leads in the Operations, Human Resource, Accounting & Admin, Facilities & Equipment, Sales & Marketing, & Business and Course Development.
Under the Environmental Protection and Management Act (EPMA), any person who wishes to import, sell or export any controlled hazardous substance must obtain a Hazardous Substances (HS) Licence from the National Environment Agency (NEA).
The driver and attendant of a licensed vehicle are required to hold a valid Hazmat Transport Driver Permit (HTDP) at all times when transporting hazardous substances.
To prepare HazMat Transport Drivers with the knowledge of managing the transportation of hazardous materials and response procedures for any incident. This course is approved by Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
We are an educational institution that utilizes technology in providing holistic learning programs in a competency based curriculum.
To prepare Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) members with the knowledge and skills to handle fire hazards (identify hazards and prevent fires from occurring) and mitigate outbreak of fire and HazMat incidents in the plant. The training includes practical training sessions and exercises.
