Students will experience working in a wide variety mediums such as pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolour, acrylic, oil, polymer clay, air dry clay and many others.
Classically trained in Russia, Ella currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Ella has always been an artist… even before she could walk, perhaps even before she was born. Comfortable working in many mediums she brings her ideas to life by creating fresh, orginal work. Being a creative soul, Ella is always driven to experiment and continually develop her ideas. Her current focus is in two primary areas, classical impressionism and a blend of abstract and contemporary impressionism.
Her work was juried in Moscow, Russia where she became a recognized National level UNESCO artist in 2015.Ella’s work is held in collections throughout Canada, USA, Europe and Russia.Ella has donated more than $25,000 of her artwork to benefit charities which help people locally and abroad.
Join us for our “I Can Draw” Workshops. During this 2-hour workshops, students are immersed in the art-making process. As children create, they learn “take-home” drawing skills. They are amazed by how quickly time passes and so impressed with their own finished artwork.

Painting courses are offered at Toronto School of Art in a variety of painting media and techniques.
Capture your furry friend on canvas! You will love this session! Simply email us a photo of your pet, we will trace it onto a blank canvas for you. One of our talented instructors will walk you through the painting process. You will be shown step by step how to paint the eyes, nose and fur.
Our Art Classes for children and teens give young people the chance to build community with others who share their interests in art. Our classes for young artists are about more than creating art: they’re about connection and community – promoting health, wellness and all-round happiness.
