The filmmaking program has beginner through advanced filmmaking classes, so whether you are just beginning, a seasoned YouTuber, or have previous experience, we have the class to match your current skill set.
The school provides hands-on experience with today’s cutting-edge media technology in a state-of-the-art production facility. Students also gain a broader perspective of TV/Film production as they study not only the technology, but also the business of filmmaking and the creative potential of art in communications, entertainment and new media.
We've been teaching filmmaking to youth for over 30 years (1986-2016). Our alumni have been accepted into the top film schools across the country (UCLA, NYU, USC, Chapman, to name a few).
In this class we will be working together to write, shoot, direct, edit and produce a short film. Members will work with staff to set up a production schedule, assign tasks, and find useful resources for their film.
Film Developing / Processing Class is offered by Studio V. We teach and host many classes from beginners to professional photographers. There is always something you can learn and we want to provide a stress free and fun environment to learn.
In this studio class, students will find and nurture their passion for filmmaking. In the film program, students shoot their own films with Canon DSLR cameras and learn how to direct or act in original scenes.
At MediaTech, you get access to industry-standard facilities and equipment. Both campuses have real sound stages with an array of digital film cameras and production support equipment.
In this class, students will learn how screenplays are written, then get some practice in writing them. You’ll have a chance to write “minute movies” (just a page long), short screenplays (a few pages long), and scenes from full length movies.
