Academy of Building Malaysia (ABM)

Akademi Binaan Malaysia (ABM) was established in 1997, and is CIDB Malaysia's assessment and training centre. The established goal is to meet the needs for the development and improvement of skills for construction workers. ABM focuses on equipping construction personnel with appropriate competencies according to industry standards.

Experienced Instructor

• Most of ABM's teaching staff have experience working in the industry, have been sent to undergo skills training abroad as well as a line of experts involved with Worlds Skill.

• To strengthen the institutional structure and will result in improved quality, efficiency and effectiveness of human resource development for the national construction industry.

• To strengthen institutional arrangements for globally recognized cooperation.

• Produce more local skilled and semi-skilled construction personnel.
• Provide opportunities for construction workers to improve their skill levels.
• Produce a productive, safety-conscious, quality-conscious and efficient construction workforce.
• Supporting the construction industry, fostering competitiveness in parallel with advancing technology.
• Develop and pioneer routes to export local skilled workers overseas.
• Provide more planned courses with highly skilled instructors.
