Construction, building and levelling and setting out skills support the industry from the ground up. We specialise in a range of courses to give construction workers recognised qualifications. At Construction College Midlands we deliver training in construction and specialist trades and we also run successful apprenticeships covering these areas.
Our training facilities provide conditions which aim to replicate construction sites as closely as possible, so you can be confident that the skills practised can be put straight to use on your site. You will use state-of-the-art and traditional equipment.
The course is specifically aimed at existing practising electricians, electrical technicians, and engineers with experience of electrical installations, and associated inspection and testing and giving them the necessary training to upskill their existing skills to install EESS.
This five-day Site management safety training scheme (SMSTS) course is designed for site managers, agents and persons who are, or are about to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff within a construction environment.
This two-day course is for both operatives and supervisors who already hold the New Roads and Street Works Card. Anyone carrying out work on the public highways must be reassessed every 5 years.
This one day course is aimed at anyone who uses scaffolding as part of their work or has responsibilities for managing site scaffolding operations.
