This Qualification may be suitable for experienced personnel with a background in site supervision and those who are fulfilling Safety Representative roles within their organisation and wish to complete the Certificate III in Work Health and Safety.
This unit of competency (UOC) meets the general construction induction training requirements of: Part 1.1 Definitions and Part 6.5 of the Model Work Health and Safety Regulations; Division 11 of Part 3 of the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996 for Western Australia
Security officers who hold a firearms licence for the purposes of Cash-In-Transit (CIT) duties or similar and has completed CPPSEC3008A Control security risk using firearms from CPP30411 Certificate III in Security operations must under go re-qualification and assessment every 12 months
There are differences between the duties and responsibilities of a security officer working at a shopping centre and that of a maritime security guard working at a security regulated port, a security regulated offshore facility or on-board a security regulated ship.
