Eli-b Create & Sew

My love for fashion and design grew from when I first learnt to sew as a child learning from my mother and aunts. I completed my first diploma in clothing production at college and was named the winner of the Rhea Awards for Fashion Excellence in 2000.

I then went on to teach students sewing and other fashion design elements at junior school level and college for a few years. Later I began specializing in making bespoke wedding gowns under my label, “Claire Catherine Bridal and Couture” and after my beautiful daughter Elizabeth was born,

I started “Eli-b Create & Sew by Claire Watson”. Soon after, I opened my online fabric shop “Watsons Fabrics” to supply quality dressmaking fabrics and haberdashery to customers all over the UK.

I love creating designs and teaching others to do the same. The sewing classes that I run from my studio in Byfleet are for beginners through to advanced level.
