European Health and Safety Agency

Overview

The European Health and Safety Agency (EHSA) was established in the United States of America to increase awareness of the risks associated with working conditions and help organizations provide a safe, healthy, and risk-free work environment.

One of the most critical priorities for meaningful technical planning for any facility or organization is establishing a prevention and protection system for human and material elements.

These systems should be within a legislative framework that is subject to quality conditions and rules to improve the work environment, protect the health and life of employees from the risks of injury, develop resources and avoid property damage or loss.

Since EHSA was founded in 2008, it has built and developed an accreditation system that operates according to scientific foundations and consistent technical planning that ensures property protection, worker safety, and health.

This integrated system examines and evaluates training programs, training providers, and trainers in the fields of occupational health, safety, and the environment. EHSA aims to ensure that they meet the quality requirements and apply international standards in implementing training programs using innovative scientific methods
to ensure the graduation of a new generation distinguished by knowledge, skill, and experience.

Occupational health and safety are essential and linked to vital disciplines, including industrial, engineering, and health. Due to the importance of participation in these fields, EHSA has signed
partnership agreements with the American Society of Professional Engineers, the American Institute of Health Care, and U.S Industry Accreditation Authority to provide the joint accreditations, advice, and support necessary for our members to excel in their performance
permanently.

Mission

Our mission is to design and develop accreditation standards for training providers and trainers in the fields of occupational health, safety, and the environment to increase their quality and raise their efficiency.

With clear and specific procedures to adhere to so that they can provide training effectively and efficiently to develop employee’s capabilities and improve their performance level.

Goals

Increasing awareness of the importance of restructuring industrial establishments to improve their quality and raise their efficiency.  Linking training plans with industrial development to meet global challenges Spreading the culture of accreditation, developing international standards and applying them to provide a safe work environment.
