French Institute of Oak Park

L’Institut français d’Oak Park offers professionally taught, accessible French courses for beginning, intermediate, and advanced adult and mature teen learners of French.

L'Institut provides all levels of conversation courses, grammar and composition courses, and French and Francophone literature and culture courses.

Through classes, semi-monthly conversation cafés, and other French and Francophone cultural events, l’Institut helps build and connect the French-speaking community in the near-west suburbs of Chicago and beyond.

Through its programs, l’Institut creates a heightened awareness of how speaking French opens the door to a rich variety of cultures around the world. All courses are taught by highly experienced faculty.
