Gallagher Bassett verifies all training hours completed to ensure that a Worker or Supervisor meets the requirements set forth under Local Law 196 and the New York City Department of Buildings’ Site Safety Training Curriculum.
If you’ve been presented with an SST Card issued by Gallagher Bassett, we can help verify the validity of the card.
Gallagher Bassett (Gallagher Bassett) can provide student transcripts upon request.
All students requesting a student transcript must fill out the “Student Transcript Form” available on our website and submit it to Gallagher Bassett via email, fax or in person.
Transcripts are released only when accompanied by a SIGNED request form from the student. Your accounts with Gallagher Bassett MUST:
This course introduces students to the New York City Fire Code and Fire Department Rules including their organization and terminology, along with Fire Code construction site provisions and all construction site fire safety requirements.
This course is a comprehensive review of Chapter 33 and the Rules of the City of New York that pertain to public protection. The purpose of the course is to initiate prospective candidates with safe job practices in New York City and to prepare those prospective candidates to take the Site Safety.
During this course students will learn the proper procedures for crane assembly/disassembly, crane inspection, crane operator communication, how to prevent accidents with cranes and hoists and proper fall protection techniques.
During this 16-hour course, students will be provided with an overview of OSHA and DOB policies, procedures, and suspended scaffold standards with a special emphasis on recognition and prevention of hazardous conditions.
The course will review the fundamentals of Silica and respirable crystalline silica, basic health hazards and risks related to exposure, PPE, engineering controls and safe work practices.
