Fire warden training expands the wardens’ role to include undertaking first attack fire fighting using portable fire extinguishers, fire blankets, fire hose reels. Participants gain hands-on experience using a range of common fire fighting equipment.

This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge needed to conduct hazard and risk analysis of their workplace and then issue appropriate work permits.

Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other arms that can be raised 900 mm or more above the ground but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or a pallet truck.

This unit leaves participants with the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform under 11 metres. The work required in this unit relates to the National Standard for High Risk Work but this unit does not provide the licence.
