From humble beginnings, HOST acquired The Australian Institute of Resources Training PTY LTD, RTO 40772 as a subsidiary in early 2017 to continue to build the business on excellence and to service our clients.

This nationally accredited course covers theoretical and practical aspects of working at heights. This course will enable you to comply with current Occupational Health and Safety legislation with successful participants receiving a nationally recognised statement of attainment.
It is necessary to hold a licence to operate a forklift. However, if you are “in training” you are permitted to operate a forklift without a licence until such time as you are competent enough to be assessed. You must be within sight and sound of a licenced operator at all times.

This unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to issue work permits. It covers an understanding of the permit system and the limitations of each permit, and making decisions regarding the need for and correct use of each permit.
