IMB Malaysia was founded in 2016 by Dato’ Mike Loh who is very passionate about bringing avant garde fashion design to Malaysia. Dato Mike has always been on the front line of the fashion industry.
He has worked with renowned companies such as Jovian Mendagie and Fashion Valet. As an avid influence of fashion, Dato Mike brought IMB to Malaysia in hopes to inspire the future generation to pursue fashion design and creative arts.
The Istituto di Moda Burgo is a school at 100% made in Italy, which became a guarantee of quality and uniqueness in a city like Milan, where many fashion schools were sold to foreign partners. Style, methodology and Italian passion that the Institute has exported in many fashion schools abroad.
Fashion Design & Stylist Course Objectives Students of all backgrounds (including total beginners) will learn how to handle and supervise the entire fashion production cycle from designing the first sketch to presenting the final collection.
The dressmaker is responsible for supervising the development of all garments related to a collection, being able to make last minute changes or interventions, when required by the stylist.
Students of all backgrounds (including total beginners) will learn the basics of drawing and illustration as well as the colouring and rendering techniques necessary to express their creativity and imagination in fashion.
