Industrial Training Associates (ITA) is a locally owned industrial training company specialising in commercial health and safety training, mentoring services, and equipment supplies and services.
We deliver NZQA courses as a Subcontractor to BeSafe Training Ltd which is a Category 1 Private Training Establishment responsible for reporting the NZQA credits to the New Zealand Qualification Framework (NZQF).
ITA is based in Hastings HB with a fully equipped training centre that includes three training rooms and a large outside area for practical competency-based training for core sessions such as Safe Working at Height (SWAH), Confined Space, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP's), Overhead Gantry, Forklift, Truck Crane, and Fire Extinguisher Training, to name just a few.
Our trainers also deliver tailored training sessions at your site throughout New Zealand.
People credited with this unit standard are able to identify: criteria where the Safety Observer is required to control, monitor and maintain safety for activity; hazardous environments and activities requiring safety observer control.
