Why Lannair ?
Lannair is a gaelic word meaning, gleaming, sparkle, shine or radiance. It is the reflection from a polished surface or the phosphoric glitter that you can see reflected off fish in the dark. It can also mean splendour or a great flame.
When I was choosing a name for my company, I wanted a name that represents what I want for the people I work with, and a name that means something to me.
Although I'm not a gaelic speaker (other than the odd word) my mother is. The photo was taken in January 2019 from the ferry on our way to the island of Lewis where she was born and grew up. And so Lannair is also a nod to my Lewis heritage.
