Located in Rainham, Kent we own an old Masonic Hall which we have modernised throughout to provide three fully equipped training classrooms and associated office facilities.
In Earlsfield, London we share first class training facilities with our sister companies Safety & Access who specialise in CISRS Scaffold training and MCL who provide specialist working at height, wind energy and rope access training
The two day refresher course is for delegates who have previously passed the full five day SMSTS course. It aims to bring health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace.
This course is aimed at all those persons who are entering or working within construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site.
This qualification develops Learners’ knowledge of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations. COSHH is the law that requires employers to control substances that are hazardous to health.
This course can be tailored to fit your company or personal requirements. At a minimum it will outline the main requirements of the regulations and duty holder responsibilities. Focus can then be tailored to suit your role within the CDM process.
This course will cover the role of the fire warden, liaison with the fire service, action on discovering fire, fire safety legislation, the chemistry of the fire, common causes of fire, fire safety precautions, fire drills and evacuation and how to use fire extinguishers.
