Our mission at MAST is to provide the Tank Installer with the information he needs to safely and efficiently remove, upgrade, and install underground and above ground fuel storage systems.
Per the EPA's guidelines, states will require Underground Storage Tank systems have designated UST system operators. Designated operators must be trained according to individual state requirements.
MAST offers official OSHA-Authorized Courses to help with the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces.
OSHA requires that any company involved in excavation, trenching, shoring, sheeting, or underground construction activities have a "Competent Person" supervising the job. This competent person is responsible for overseeing underground activities, excavation safety.
The DOT course is designed to meet the requirements of training as set forth in HM 181/126F and 49 C.F.R. §§172.700-172.704. The 49 CFR (code of federal regulations) is the CFR created to dictate the laws and regulations applied by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT).
OSHA requires specific training for any worker involved in Confined Space entry that meets the criteria set forth in OSHA's Permit Required Confined Space Entry Regulations.
This course satisfies the OSHA requirement for training of personnel involved in Hazardous Waste Operations and includes one day of Confined Space Entry as well as Respirator Fit Testing and Training.
Our training for this course is taught by- OSHA Outreach Training Program authorized trainers. This Class is designed to train the construction laborer in the basic OSHA requirements for their job in the construction industry.
