Mike Russell

For 30 years, Mike Russell Bookkeeping & Tax Services has helped make the bookkeeping process painless for all types of small businesses.

He does this in two major ways: First, his firm offers customized QB accounting systems for your specific industry, monthly bookkeeping, CFO services, QuickBooks cleanup, and tax preparation to small businesses in the Austin area. And second, he offers classes and books for business owners who want to do it themselves.

The author of QuickBooks Made Fast and Simple, Mike has taught hundreds of small business owners and bookkeepers in his QuickBooks classes how to use QuickBooks in the most simple and fast way possible, often saving them thousands of dollars.

Mike has set up many fun (yes, it’s fun when you work with Mike!) accounting systems for contractors, restaurants, retailers, manufacturers, real estate, wineries, landscaping firms, and many more businesses.

It’s common for Mike to work side by side with the business owner in a controllership function, overseeing the bookkeeping and tax needs of the company. As the company grows, Mike is able to grow the accounting systems so the business can keep growing unimpeded.

Mike has been a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor since 2003. He earned an accounting degree from Empire Business College and a degree in Humanistic Psychology and Music from Sonoma State University.
 

Eva Russell

Eva supervises our team of QuickBooks ProAdvisors and has been working for Mike Russell Bookkeeping & Taxes for 20 years. She studied accounting at Santa Rosa Jr. College and became a QuickBooks Certified Professional Advisor in 2005.

Eva enjoys working with many wives who have been trusted with the responsibility of “keeping the books” for the family business.
