Rachel's Music Lessons

Rachel is a passionate and enthusiastic Melbourne musician and teacher of music. She has been playing saxophone, flute and clarinet for 19 years, and has loved every second of it! She thoroughly enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for music with her students and enjoys seeing her students improve from week to week and develop into skilled musicians.

Rachel began studying music at Blackburn High School, then went on to continue studying at The Victorian College of the Arts where she completed her Bachelor of Music majoring on the Alto Saxophone. She has also completed her Post-graduate Diploma of Education in secondary education and has been teaching both in schools and privately for the past 12 years. She currently teaches at 2 different schools in the South East Suburbs of Melbourne, as well as private students at her home studio in Narre Warren South.

Rachel has experience teaching students of all ages and levels of playing and is registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and holds a current Working With Children Check.
