Safe Space offers the comprehensive capabilities and deep industry knowledge necessary to help your business navigate all project management and health and safety aspects.  Safe Space is New Zealand owned and operated by James Bamford, who has extensive construction industry experience spanning over Australia, Europe and New Zealand.

Before James' time in construction his health and safety journey began as an explosive ordnance disposal technician (bomb disposal) for the British Army where he learnt the values of preservation of lives.

James comes from a trade background and has been a senior project manager in construction for 10+ years with some of New Zealand's leading construction companies. This has paved the way for Safe Space to offer our services as a multi-discipline consultancy company. 

James is an accredited member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) which is a worldwide recognised health and safety governing body along with the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (NZISM).
