At Sky-High Tuition, we take the suitability of our tutors and welfare of our students very seriously. We understand that every child has different needs and requires the right tutelage to succeed academically.

At Sky-High, we have a wide range of tutors that are competent to help students with homework, test preparations and academic success. Our tutors are thoroughly vetted through several rounds of interviews, teaching observations and scrutinised group activities.

We carry out this rigorous process to assure that their tutoring capability and suitability to work with children satisfy our recruitment policy requirement. Furthermore, all our tutors must pass the enhanced DBS check to be accepted to tutor with us.

We provide valuable resources and learning aids including individual text books, worksheets and computer software which are tailored specifically to each student’s needs.

Our Early Years Foundation Tutors specialize in improving comprehension and increasing vocabulary of our 3 to 5-year-old students by encouraging their desire to read and passion to learn. Our Primary Education Tutors help children aged between 5 to 11-year-old meet increasingly difficult learning needs with Mathematics, English and Science subjects.

At Sky-High Tuition, we believe in family and operate a Sibling Discount Policy. We apply a discount of 2% to the eldest sibling’s fees when a sibling joins us. A third sibling will also see a 1% discount added to the second sibling’s fees, and so on. In this way, a sibling discount ceases when there is only one student left in our tuition.

We have Secondary Education Tutors who support the growing needs of students aged 11 to 16 years in Mathematics, English and Science subjects to help them maintain control of their school work and study for examinations.

Our Specialty Subject Tutors provide extra help in advanced-placement courses. Our Homework Help Tutors assist students in homework completion and help them master helpful homework skills. We also have Group Tutors working with students learning the same subject in groups.

All our tutors are well trained to monitor student’s progress and performance by giving formative assessments, homework and constructive feedback regularly.

Our tutoring sessions are done face to face in small groups of a maximum of 10 students for up to 2 hours per lesson. We believe tutoring in small groups makes learning easy and conducive and helps students excel in their studies. We also offer one-to-one tutoring sessions on demand for individual students.

Parents and Guardians choose us because we communicate the progress of their children to them which makes them confident of our tutoring approach. Also, with prior consent from parents or guardians, we communicate with our student’s teacher to check that there is no progression gap outside our learning environment.

If a student still requires improvement in any subject area, we will communicate our observations to their parents or guardian on next steps and action plans.
