Slough Cricket Club was founded in 1849 and has since had a long and proud history of being one of the premier cricket clubs in the Thames Valley area. The First XI competes in the Home Counties Cricket League and won the Division 1 title in 2006.
The current first team squad includes several Buckinghamshire County Cricket Club players, a regular achievement for the club over the years. On a Saturday the club fields five teams and has colts teams starting from under 9's to under 17's.
In 2010 it achieved 'Club Mark' status which is awarded by the English Cricket Board to club's who meet a high standard of organisation and safety in the running of it's colts section.
