About The Safety Council
The Central California Safety Council was founded as the San Joaquin Safety Council in 1934, by a group of local business leaders, to promote health & safety at home, in travel and in the workplace.
Today, the safety council serves business members throughout Central California with occupational health & safety information, products and services.
It also provides numerous community health & safety programs, information and educational materials on a wide variety of health & safety-related topics. You may request information on the benefits of a corporate membership by completing an online request.
Supervisor Training course is offered by The Central California Safety Council. It also provides numerous community health & safety programs, information and educational materials on a wide variety of health & safety-related topics.
Workplace Safety training course is offered by The Central California Safety Council. It also provides numerous community health & safety programs, information and educational materials on a wide variety of health & safety-related topics.
This 4-hour course includes classroom and hands-on operator training for forklift drivers as required by OSHA & CAL-OSHA. Prerequisites to this course include experience driving a motor vehicle and proficiency to read, write, speak and understand English in order to quickly understand.
Topics covered in this course include risk management, a review of traffic laws, updates on new laws, habits that can compensate for the natural mental and physical changes of aging, aggressive driving, impaired driving and much more.
