The Dallas School of Music has been providing quality music education services to the greater Dallas area since 1992. The Dallas School of Music teaches private and group music lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Young beginners through senior citizens can enjoy professional music lessons to discover, learn, and play piano, violin, guitar, and voice, plus all woodwind, brass, percussion, orchestral and stringed instruments.

Who started The Dallas School of Music?

• The Dallas School of Music was started by Dr. Bob Lawrence. During his doctoral studies at the University of North Texas, Dr. Lawrence conducted extensive research on community music education which which was the focus of his dissertation. His passion for music education, research, and entrepreneurship led to the vision of what we now know as The Dallas School of Music.
