Technique is the root of dance training and class is where dancers hone their foundation. Emma uses her knowledge of Ballet, Jazz and contemporary through stretch, toning, centre and corner work.
Suitable for students that have no dance experience. This is a solo class introducing you firstly to the history and origin of Samba. Class focus is on learning the fundamentals. A break-down of the basic step, timing and isolating different parts of the body.
If you want to burn calories Reggae-tone is the optimal mix of dance, strength, cardio, and core training. Have fun enjoying and learning Reggaeton, a mix of street latin rhythms all while working out. Class is open for non-dancers and more advanced dancers wanting to cross train.
Originating in Havana, Rueda (Spanish for "wheel') is a style of Cuban Salsa where several couples dance in a circle. The dance moves are called by one person, and the couples dance a specific pattern before swapping partners.
This is the beginning of your Cuban dancing journey. You don’t need to have experience in dance to attend and you don’t need a partner to join the course. Just come along learn the fundamentals and have some fun.
