This Silica Awareness for Construction  course provides a general awareness of the risks and the regulatory requirements for protecting employees who work with substances and materials that contain silica, as required by OSHA.

This course is designed to help workers to meet the OSHA Respiratory Protection training requirement. This training can serve as the bulk of classroom training as part of a respiratory training program

This fully narrated course is built for success with interactions, exercises, and quiz questions along the way. Students must answer each quiz question in order to proceed. These questions are intended to help prepare students for the module exams.

The training should be provided when an employee is hired and with refresher training as needed, typically each year. Training provided close to the hot season is more effective than training provided during colder seasons without follow-up refresher training.

This Back Safety in the Workplace Training course is intended to educate workers about back injuries, discuss how to prevent them, and suggest lifting techniques and guidelines.
