Based in central London William Harvey Research Ltd provides preclinical contract research for the Biotech and Pharmaceutical industry, with the aim of offering the most professional service to our customers in bespoke study design and advice, alongside high quality academic input.

Our History

Named after the English physician who made seminal contributions to anatomy and physiology, William Harvey Research Limited (WHRL) was established in 1990 by the Nobel Laureate Sir John Vane, FRS, to facilitate interaction between academia and the pharmaceutical industry.

Since then we have worked with over 100 biotech and pharmaceutical companies and continue to lead the way as a Preclinical Contract Research Organisation.

Our Work

A primary aim of WHRL is to co-ordinate contract research as an Efficacy, Verification and Interpretation Service (EVIS). Scientific personnel of the William Harvey Research Institute provide the foundation of experience and expertise to complement drug development for biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
