Founded in 1848, YMCA is now a worldwide organisation of over 45 million members. Did you know the first mention of YMCA Bournemouth was in 1879?

What We Do

We are inspired by Christian values to work across areas such as Accommodation & Support, Family Work, Health & Wellbeing, Training & Education and Support & Advice with the aim of transforming communities so that everyone can belong, contribute and thrive.

Impact

We are proud to say that through our youth clubs, supported accommodation, children’s centres, pre-school, child contact centre, chaplaincy, leisure facilities, training and youth work, we positively affect the lives of many thousands of individuals and families across Dorset every year.
