This class is for experienced stitches working on their own projects using mainly crewel techniques.

In this class, you will learn all about how to use your embroidery machine and what all those symbols are on screen, and what you use them for.

Learn the art of gentle stitching - this style is new and fresh, and achived fast. You will learn a handful of stitches and techniques, get guidance and get the chance to share your progress with other stitchers. 

Modern Embroidery classes are offered by  Quilters Quarters for all skill level. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided for morning and afternoon teas when you attend class. However, you will need to bring your own lunch for full day classes.

Choose a design from our selection of The Stitchsmith’s modern NZ-inspired range and learn basic embroidery stitches that will set you up for all your future projects. Pattern included - hoop and embroidery threads available from the shop.

Embroidery to Perfection classes are offered by Sewing Centre for all skill level. There are in-store classes available in small groups catering to a range of sewing abilities including beginners and the more advanced sewers.

You will be making lots of different 2 inch and 3 inch blocks. We'll have a kit for you and it will be either a warm palette (red, gold, cream, browns) or a cool palette (greens, blues, creams, mauves etc).

This class is ideal for beginners starting out in patchwork. If you want to get started with patchwork and have no idea where to start? This class is ideal for you! Come and learn with others this fun skill that will make you popular come birthdays and Christmas.

This Embroidery course is offered by Robyn's Cottage.
