Our First Aid Concepts Course is the only First Aid Course that we offer. This course appears in most of our Short Courses and gives students the opportunity to learn about safety in the workplace. 

Purpose of the course is to provide general knowledge of basic first aid principles to enable the learner to cope with minor casualties until expert help arrives.

Participants will be able to perform the steps of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, basic airway manoeuvres and rescue breathing in casualties of all ages. After the course, the candidates will be skilled in the use of bag-valve resuscitators and in the technique of automated external defibrillation.

First Aid Level 1: Teaches basic life support skills to assess and stabilize patients before emergency services arrive. First Aid Level 2: Builds on Level 1 skills and teaches more advanced first aid skills, such as AED use and spinal immobilization.

The Basic First Aid Course is an entry level training programme that covers CPR, Burns, Fractures, Wounds, Bleeding, Legal Implications, Ethics and more. This course will leave the learner feeling confident in their ability to treat basic wounds.
