Companies that use MEWPS need to know what their management and legal responsibilities are. The course covers what managers need to know about the safe use of MEWPS on site, from planning the job and conducting a risk assessment to selecting the right equipment and mitigating all risks.

To gain an understanding of current relevant legislation and be able to dismantle, erect and inspect mobile access towers safely as per the manufacturer's erection instructions.

You will develop an awareness of the legal implications, common hazards and precautions, together with the correct driving, operation, pre-use inspection, elevating, lowering and emergency procedures for these commonly used MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).

Mobile Plant Safety Awareness training is offered by CSM. We offer a wide range of programmes designed specifically to meet the needs of industry. We also have products that are applicable to people at work in general.

MEWP (Cherry Picker) training is offered by J&D Training Ltd. Courses at our centre are a flexible alternative to on-site training and are available all year round including Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays and are available to business or private customers.
