The City Schools of Decatur seeks to create a clear path to success for all students. We strive to support this vision through our English Language Arts Curriculum.

Our integrated skills program is designed to provide quality instruction and practice to improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills at every level.

In the Speaking and Listening class you will focus on developing your English communication skills through class discussion, role-play, debate and many other kinds of exercises. In the Integrated Skills class, you will work on improving your English grammar knowledge and reading and writing skills.

Our most intensive program includes six lessons per day, with both morning and afternoon classes (there are no afternoon classes on Friday). Special emphasis is placed on conversation skills. Rennert offers an extensive activity calendar to complement your classroom learning.

In small classes of 8 students maximum, we give our students the opportunity to brush up on their grammar, build their vocabulary and improve their pronunciation and speaking skills.  We also use visits to some of the interesting places near our Midtown location to stimulate discussions.

Studying in the United States and Canada can unlock a myriad of opportunities for international students. The Intensive English program from ELS will help you take advantage of these opportunities by ensuring you are confident in your English speaking abilities.

Kids aged 4 to 11 can study online with Be Fluent NYC! Our fun and interactive lessons will motivate kids to want to keep learning. Kids will practice speaking, writing, reading and learn English songs and American culture. Lessons are from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
