The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) program was developed by OSHA to protect workers at hazardous materials sites. These regulations ensure the safety and health of all personnel when followed correctly.

This course is designed to fulfill training requirements for hazardous waste cleanup workers listed within Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations 1910.120(e).

For on-site personnel who are regularly on hazardous waste sites in areas with exposures under permissible exposure limits and published exposure limits, such as personnel or outside contractors supporting site operations.

This course provides essential employee training for sites that presently have hazardous waste characteristics or hazardous waste operations in place. EPA/OSHA required.

OSHA requires businesses that operate sites where employees, managers, and supervisors experience limited exposure to hazardous materials to provide 24-Hours of initial training. Additionally, those who only occasionally visit the site may be required to have a level of HAZWOPER training as well.
