Chemical emergency spill response capability is a wise step toward being prepared for an unforeseen incident. OSHA requires that certain industrial personnel must be trained and prepared to respond to and handle an unexpected chemical release in your facility (29 CFR 1920.120).

Seminar provides the initial classroom training mandated by OSHA 29 CFR1910.120(e). Workers attending this instructor-led course will cover 18 different OSHA suggested topics including Health and Safety Procedures, PPE used during work operations at hazardous material sites, Medical Monitoring.

According to OSHA, all employees working on site who are exposed to hazardous substances, health hazards, or safety hazards must be trained prior to participating in hazard operations. (Standard 29 CFR 1910.120) This course covers hazardous waste cleanup, corrective actions involving clean up.

All hazardous chemical users should take at least once. If they generate or handle hazardous waste, then they must repeat annually. If the researcher is a non-chemical user, they do not have to take this course.

This course satisfies the OSHA requirement for training of personnel involved in Hazardous Waste Operations and includes one day of Confined Space Entry as well as Respirator Fit Testing and Training.

The DOT course is designed to meet the requirements of training as set forth in HM 181/126F and 49 C.F.R. §§172.700-172.704. The 49 CFR (code of federal regulations) is the CFR created to dictate the laws and regulations applied by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT).

OSHA requires annual retraining in the HAZWOPER Technician Course. This 8-Hour Refresher Course will give you the training OSHA mandates (29 CFR 1910.120) or the recertification you need no matter where you received your technician training.

HazWoper training Course is offered by United training & trade. Participants gain both classroom and practical training in handling, controlling and managing chemical emergencies.
