The H2S Alive course is taught only by an Energy Safety Canada certified instructor.  Our instructors have over 20 years of instructional experience on H2S and Energy Safety Canada courses.

Common Safety Orientation course introduces workers from all sectors of the oil and gas industry to safe work practices and incorporates Energy Safety Canada’s 10 Life-Saving Rules, which are based on addressing the most at-risk behaviors.

The purpose of this program is to create awareness of H2S hazards, how to protect yourself from exposure, along with the ability to execute a basic response strategy in the event of an accidental exposure or release of this highly toxic gas.

This course is designed to improve the awareness of the hazards of working in an H2S environment. Students who required Energy Safety Canada (ESC) certification can take the 8 hour H2S Alive course.

Our H2S Alive course in Edmonton is Enform certified and the only course recognized by the industry. This course is designed for anyone working in an industrial environment where H2S (hydrogen sulfide) may be present.

H2S Alive Course is offered by 4 Points Safety and Training Inc. We are a recognized training partner with the Canadian Red Cross and the Alberta Construction Safety Association.

H2S Alive was created by Energy Safety Canada to provide students with the knowledge to recognize and identify the properties of Hydrogen Sulphide, protect themselves from its effects, and perform basic rescue techniques.

This is a required course for anyone working in the petroleum industry.H2S Alive is an 8-hour course designed to improve awareness of the hazards of working in an H2S environment and provides the student with the basic skills necessary to follow a response strategy to rescue casualty of H2S poison.

This course is designed for all industries, from Oil and Gas, to Utilities, Petrochemical, Pulp and Paper, Upgrading and Nuclear Power Generation. This course meets OH&S requirements for theory training for H2S.
