Course Background
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 requires the correctly selected wheel to be properly mounted by a person trained who is both trained for this purpose and considered competent by the employer.

SSG offer this course over half day as a classroom course.
Course Programme
NOTE: This course contains information on the safe use of abrasive wheels. The content covers practical demonstration on changing the wheel but does not provide actual information on how to use the equipment.
Training Certification and Assessment
Delegates will be assessed on their input during the practical exercise and their feedback. An SSG course certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the training and is valid for three years.
