Please note:
All intermediate and advanced level acro students must be enrolled in a ballet class in order to participate in the intermediate and advanced level acro classes.
Certain elements/skills must be achieved in order to advance to the next level. Acro does not progress solely on age.
Academy of Dance has been open under the direction and ownership of Jacquie Franz since 2001. In the spring of 2009, Academy of Dance moved to its current location, offering classes for two year old's and up.
We pride ourselves on creating an exciting and fun environment for our students and their families while teaching the technique and fundamentals required to excel in all aspects of the performing arts.
Acrobatics dance classes are offered by Miami Dance and Music Academy for all ages and skill level. Our instructors are highly qualified and many have extensive performance experience. Most importantly, our instructors strive to relate their teaching to each individual student’s learning style.
This style of dance combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context. This mixed-level class performs in two shows per dance year.
Acrobatics is the art of blending dance movement and tumbling. It includes strength training and in depth stretching. Incorporated into dance, acro adds a spectacular, showy, and startling performance and demonstration involving great agility and complexity.
Students develop strength, coordination and flexibility while learning acrobatic exercises on the mat (splits, rolls, cartwheels, walkovers, etc.) Each child receives individual instruction and progresses through the levels at his/her own pace
Acro dance class is offered by Artevivo Dance Studio for all ages and levels. We offer Master & Open Classes, Videos, National Competitions, Shows, Events, & Performances.???????
