Yoyo School of Dancing was established in Edmonton in 2011 and has been dedicated to the instruction and spread of traditional Chinese dance as well as other dance styles.
Yoyo School of Dancing became the first Chinese dance school to own a professional dance studio in Edmonton.
Classes officially commenced in the new dance studio in January of 2016 and we added another studio in July of 2017. We hope to provide a comfortable dance environment for students of all ages.
Classes run from September to June but do not participate in the year end recital or competition. The main purpose for this class is for continuous training and strengthening throughout the dance season.

This style mixes floor gymnastics and dancing. The dancers in this class work a lot on flexibility, lifts and acrobatic figures while learning a choreography
Strength and flexibility are cultivated to build a well-rounded acro dancer in both beginner and advanced level classes.
Students learn Acrobatic Skills such as handstands, cartwheels, chest stands, elbow stands, walkovers, side and front aerial, and tumbling lines.
