Advanced Makeup Artistry Course

Advanced Makeup Artistry, Students will enjoy learning advanced techniques that can be applied to a variety of clientele and creative projects.

This program was designed to equip the student with the highly developed skills needed to excel in the progressive industry of Makeup Artistry.

Upon completion, the student will be fully equipped with a working portfolio and have the skill set needed to advance their Makeup Artistry and turn their knowledge into an international career.

Our Advanced program focuses mainly on portfolio development which sets this program apart. Developing in a professional studio is also very important.

Numa provides all students with ongoing access to our professional studio. This course includes professional photoshoots designed to enhance your skills and portfolio.

All Advanced graduates are given the opportunity to continually develop their portfolio through our collaboration with several reputable and award-winning agencies across Canada.

Numa International Institute of Makeup and Design is the only school in Alberta to provide Hair Design in the Advanced curriculum from our sister brand, One Beauty.

As the industry grows, the standard is continually rising. Clients are more likely to hire a Makeup Artist who is capable of providing Hair Design as well as Artistry services.

Hair Design does not include cutting or coloring the hair. After taking the Advanced Program you will learn the basics of hair design for photoshoots, runway, TV, commercials and special occasions/ bridal.
