Numa International Institute of Makeup and Design is the only school in Alberta to provide Hair Design in the Advanced curriculum from our sister brand, One Beauty.
As the industry grows, the standard is continually rising. Clients are more likely to hire a Makeup Artist who is capable of providing Hair Design as well as Artistry services.
Hair Design does not include cutting or coloring the hair. After taking the Advanced Program you will learn the basics of hair design for photoshoots, runway, TV, commercials and special occasions/ bridal.

The Blanche Macdonald Centre has partnered with our sister company, our glamorous destination retailer CurliQue Beauty, to provide a two-day intensive Makeup workshop that will teach you the essentials of Makeup for personal application.
Faye Smith Agency offers public group workshops, private workshops and individual lessons for both hair and makeup artistry. Our students are those looking to switch up their own beauty routine, refresh their look, or are new and growing professionals.
This program includes advanced make-up fundamentals, glamour make-up, full bridal services, photography concepts, special effects applications for film, television, theatre as well as advanced prosthetics and creature design.
