Prerequisite:
This training is only for professionals that already hold a Medical Micropigmentation License in the State of Oklahoma. This training is geared toward the Permanent Cosmetic Professional who has a passion to take their career to a higher level, and expand their talents by providing clients with the most realistic eyebrow procedure.
This training is for permanent makeup technicians who already have a medical office to be able to train with Dawna
My journey into permanent makeup started one day while I was having lunch with my mother. She told me she had decided to have a permanent makeup procedure. I had never heard of permanent makeup before.
When I realized she was talking about having a tattoo on her face, I panicked! We were both nurses working long hours at the time and she began to explain to me how much easier her life would be if she did not have to reapply her makeup every day.
I was skeptical and made sure she did her research. It was important to both of us that she choose an artist who understood cross contamination and health issues; we wanted an artist with a nursing background.
I was amazed when I saw the end results, how natural it looked, and how permanent makeup truly made her life easier. My mother has worked very hard and always cared about her looks. To this day she still loves waking up with makeup!
In this program you will choose from either microblading or ombré brows only.
Whether you’re someone who is in another profession in the beauty industry, has already been microblading or even someone who has no experience in cosmetics or cosmetic tattoo, we’re here to help make the transition into this amazing industry possible. Be ready to work the next day!
We welcome students from all backgrounds.
You will gain full knowledge of every aspect of the procedure as well as master various hair strokes application skills. We will go in depth of every necessary step of manual microblading from tool sterilization and skin structure to proper application, aftercare and touch up.
Manual microblading is a form of semi-permanent tattooing that involves using tiny, fine-point needles (instead of a tattoo gun) that make up a small disposable blade and handle (think: a very small rat-tail comb-looking tool) that helps scratch and deposit pigment simultaneously under your skin.
