Join us for our After School Snack Cooking Club. These yummy cookies use banana instead of egg and bake up to be soft and chewy. They are so fun to make because you can customize them with any of your favorite mix-ins. In this class, kids will learn how to make a simple cookie dough batter from scratch, step-by-step, with our chef instructor.
For this class, you will need: ripe banana, butter or oil, sugar (or sweetener like honey or maple syrup), vanilla extract, all-purpose flour (or sub), baking soda, salt, cinnamon (or other spices), rolled oats, and any mix-ins are up to you! Some fun ideas: chocolate chips, dried fruits like cherries or cranberries, nuts or seeds, marshmallows, etc.
